Our 2015 graduate recruitment programme is in full swing. We have 145 opportunities up for grabs – 16 more than last year – comprising 89 graduate places and 56 for year-in-industry students and summer internships.
Featured in The Sun today, iQ2015 – our graduate and apprentice recruitment programme – looks to attract the brightest and best across a wide range of disciplines, including science, maths, engineering, business and IT, to work in a variety of QinetiQ’s businesses such as Air, Space, Maritime and Training. The graduate programme provides applicants with a structured two-year programme to give them the experience and skills to become future leaders.
As part of our iQ2015 recruitment campaign, we will visit universities across the UK to demonstrate QinetiQ’s astonishing work under the theme of ‘Discover’, aiming to attract the brightest students.
For the last two years QinetiQ has demonstrated its commitment to increasing graduate recruitment, with the number of graduate places rising annually. This supports our work as a founding member of The 5% Club – a nationwide campaign to encourage UK companies to commit to 5% of their workforce being apprentices, graduates or placement students on a formalised training programme within five years.
Our young people – tomorrow’s experts
QinetiQ is built on the strength of its expertise – “people who know how”. Developing our young people is both a business and social imperative – skills enhancement leads to innovation, innovation leads to growth, growth leads to prosperity.
QinetiQ also offers apprenticeship programmes in engineering, management, facilities, project management, and information systems. Our award winning QinetiQ Apprentice Training School at MOD Boscombe Down has a completion rate of almost 95%, against the national average of 75%, and trains students to Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Engineering.
